Two of the best colleges in the country are located right here in New Hampshire. US News and World Report just released it annual college rankings, and it includes Dartmouth and the Franklin Piere Law center. Dartmouth was ranked 47th in engineering and ninth in business schools. Dartmouth Medical School was ranked 22nd in primary care and 34th in research. The law center, in Concord, was ranked third for intellectual property law, which deals with the ownership of ideas. |

Two student housing buildings at Notre Dame College are going to be put to good use. The head of Manchester Neighborhood Housing Services, a low-income housing organization, says his group is buying both properties.Together, they contain 39 student apartments. The properties will be available next spring. They'll be remodeled and will likely have fewer apartments. Notre Dame is closing at the end of this school year. |

Enterasys Networks of Portsmouth is undergoing some major restructuring. The company announced the resignation of its Chief executive officer and two other top executives and higher than expected losses. The market reacted this morning, as the company's stock fell 60 percent in the first two hours of trading to a dollar-65 a share. The government has been investigating it and some affiliates for alleged accounting irregularities. Enterasys is the main successor to the former Cabletron Systems. |

Natural gas prices could be on their way down. KeySpan Energy Delivery says it will file rates Monday that are expected to be almost half of summer's rates. The states other natural gas supplier, Northern Utilities, has suggested slightly lower rates for the summer. KeySpan says prices are low because the warm winter prompted low demand, which reduces prices. |

NH--Church Abuse dewdov N.H. lawsuit to be aimed at priests -- A Nashua lawyer plans to file a lawsuit over new allegations of decades-old abuse by priests. Mark Rufo says the suit will focus on the alleged misconduct of at least four priests. Rufo would not release their names, but said one of them was listed among the 14 priests named by the Diocese of Manchester in February. Rufo said he has at least eight solid cases of abuse. And he says he's received so many additional claims from around the state that he could not estimate the total number of victims the suit will ultimately involve. |

Another major terrorist attack could happen according to Afghan leaders. Speaking to forum at Daniel Webster College Haroun Amin, who leads the newly reopened Afghan embassy in Washington, says a neglected Afghanistan produced September eleventh. He said if the international community wants to walk away from his country, there will be another. And that the country needs international help to rebuild the devastation caused by 22 years of war. |

AP-NH--Chema-Congress dewman Chema drops out of congressional race -- Another Republican is dropping out of the race for Congress in New Hampshire's First District. Retired Army officer Michael Chema is expected to make an official announcement Monday, but several GOP sources are telling The Union Leader he already has told campaign staff members. Chema campaign manager Chris Williams said Chema will not comment until Monday. Chemas campaign signs have been removed from the windows of his campaign office in Manchester. Former Executive Councilor William Cahill left the race Wednesday morning. Four candidates are still in the race. They are Jeb Bradley of Wolfeboro, Fran Wendelboe of New Hampton, Sean Mahoney of Portsmouth and Gary Hoffman of Bedford. Martha Fuller Clark of Portsmouth is the only Democrat seeking the seat. |
